A Note from Our Pastor
We invite you to consider joining us at Ygnacio Valley Presbyterian Church as we begin a new era in our history. You will not only have the opportunity to become a part of a very welcoming and supportive community of faith, you will also be in on the ground floor of launching a new ministry on the border between Walnut Creek and Concord.

Our folks here acknowledge that as human beings we are all on a journey of faith. We are looking for answers to who we are, why we are here, and where we are going. Our search begins with accepting that there is a creator and we know that creator as being the God of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. Jesus, for us, is the clearest revelation of who this God is and who this God wants us to be. Our challenge is to hear what Jesus says and to live our lives as closely to his as is possible in the real world of today.

Each of us here is at a different place on their journey of faith. Through Bible study, small groups, worship, fellowship, service, and community building, we work to support each person on their journey as they seek to find truth and meaning through their relationship with God. We are committed to respecting each person's journey.

Our goal is to grow both in our spiritual depth and in our numbers. Our mission is to be a community of faith that has the strength to effectively bring the power of the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to individuals, and the healing energy of God to those in need in the community around us.

Though we invite all to be a part of our future, we believe we are uniquely situated and equipped to offer a ministry to young people, particularly young children and their families. We have committed ourselves to developing a first-class Sunday School and an outreach program to school-age people.

Come and join us on this new venture.
